A Little Something for my Farnsworth Cousins

DISCLAIMER: I could not figure out how to flip this video. But you have to see this. So turn your head or your laptop.

This post is for my family. I'm not being selfish, it's just that no one else thinks it's as funny as we do. Evidence of this -- when I was writing this post Troy said to me, "Why do you think this is so funny?" I like to think that he loves me anyway. It may not be explicable, but I will attempt to explain if you choose to keep reading. You may want to watch the video first then read my explanation and then watch the video again.

When I was younger my grandparents gave our family a video for Christmas: The Farley Family Reunion. This is a one man show created by Jim Arrington. He plays different characters at a family reunion (he performed this show live at Wheeler Farm for awhile). Some of our favorites: The returned missionary - who they call up to the microphone out of the bushes (where he is making out) to tell his mission story - flip -; the farmer - wheat's up, frost killed the beans; the Geneologist - now what would you a done? I'll tell you what she done!; and the Magician - ya da yut da, ya da ya.

Jim Arrington is performing the show at Utah Valley right now. My sister in law took my nephew to see it. He came over the next day and gave me a little performance of his own.

My favorite part in Luke's video: ya da ya da ya da . . . ching da da da!

To all my cousins who received the video the same Christmas - enjoy! The Farley Family lives on.

To the rest of you...I really can't explain why this is so funny. It just is. So don't knock a memory from my childhood. :)

Luke is adorable as usual. James Arriington is the uncle to a girl I grew up with and once during a sleepover he came over and entertained us for hours! Long live the Farley Family reunion!!
