I discovered this week that Florida does have fall. It lasts for about two seconds (or a week) but is beautiful! Enough humidity so that the air isn't dry, but not too much so your hair is sick. Now to my list of Things I Love About Fall:
Crunchy leaves on the ground
Lungs filled with cool air as you walk or run
Leaves changing color (doesn't really happen here, but I love that)
Long-sleeves, but not jacket weather
Cool nights
Bonfires and friends with guitars
Playing football or frisbee with friends on Saturday afternoons
Driving with the windows and sunroof open
Autumn colors--golds, browns, reds, yellows
Smell of pumpkin bread, cookies, cakes, pies
Smell of home-bottled tomato products (stewed tomatoes, chili sauce, tomato soup)
Walking across campus
Studying with the window open
Planning for Christmas
