October already!

So, I'm having more luck posting quick blurbs on my family blog than writing here. I'll just try posting a quick comment every now and then.

Today I'll say that I'm really excited for my new niece! Congratulations Rob & Nicole - she is beautiful! Nicole is a trooper for enduring hours of labor and pushing only to turn around and have a C-section. I'm interested to hear her comments about this once she's recovered a bit. Baby and mother are doing fine and my brother is also recovering from two nights with no sleep.

Work has been really busy for me - it's budget season. I'm trying to remember to stay balanced (life is NOT all about work), but it's a challenge sometimes to shuffle everything. I got my big project submitted on Monday and now I feel like a huge weight is off my shoulders. I have three other reports due this week, but I should be able to finish them during work hours.

I decorated my house with my three fall/Halloween decorations. And I was so happy that my brother and sister in law gave me this cool jack skeleton candle thing. You'll have to see it - it's awesome!
