Troy & I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Troy's brother Ryan and his family surprised everyone by driving in from Texas for the week. It was a lot of fun to see them. Troy has really missed his niece & nephews - he spent a lot of time with them while he and I were dating long distance and we've missed them. Troy had a great time being his nephew's buddy during laser tag Friday night.
We spent Thanksgiving day with my family and several of my aunts & uncles came also. We enjoyed great food (my aunts are excellent cooks) and then watched Star Trek in my dad's theater. What a great way to let the food digest! Garren even spent the day with all the family's dogs. Have I mentioned that my dad is not a dog fan? Fortunately, the weather was nice, so the dogs played outside until dusk, then we put them in the garage in our exercise pin with a heater.
I am really grateful for my family and for Troy's family. We feel so blessing going into this Christmas season. I am grateful for my Savior who sacrificed for me so that I may live again.
